Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize automatic stop of a self-traveling type vehicle model by providing the rail part installed with a signal along side the rail part where the vehicle model travels with a stopper mechanism which interlocks to the signal changeover of the signal and prohibits the passage of the vehicle model at the time of a stop signal.
CONSTITUTION: The signal 2 for instructing traveling of the self-traveling type vehicle model which is guided by rails 1 and travels in the rail part is provided with a rotary drum driving mechanism in order to rotate the rotary drum. This mechanism is so constituted that the rotary drum is rotated by 60° each via an interlocking mechanism at every depression of, for example, a post 92, by which the signal is changed over successively to a blue signal, yellow signal and red signal. A stopper plate 4 is risen with a contactor in contact with a cam and a lever when the signal 2 is changed over to the yellow signal. The bumper part on the front side of the self-traveling type vehicle model progressing on the rails 1 dashes against the erecting part of the stopper 4 and the rear wheels are floated, by which the self-traveling type vehicle model is stopped.
