To provide an inspection gauge capable of easily inspecting the amount of wear in the rail of a fall prevention implement.
The inspection gauge 2 of a rail plate thickness includes: an abutting section 26 that comes into contact with the first surface of the rail plate of the fall prevention implement; and a rotatable lever 12, where the tip of the abutting section 26 can come into contact with a second surface in parallel with the first surface of the rail. The inspection gauge 2 is composed so that the distance between the tip of the lever 12 and the abutting section 26 is varied by the rotation of the lever 12. The minimum value of the distance is set to a reference thickness of the rail plate. Preferably, a body 4 of the inspection gauge 2 has a guide section 22 and an insertion section 24. The guide section 22, insertion section 24, and abutting section 26 are flat boards. A reference surface 36 of the abutting section 26 faces a lower portion. The lever 12 has a measurement surface 52 facing an outward direction in the radial direction of rotation. The distance between the tip of the lever 12 and the abutting section 26 is equal to that between the reference surface 36 and the measurement surface 52.
