Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform operation of a railroad crossing for a dual-mode vehicle.SOLUTION: The system includes onboard equipment 110 including an internal clock 111 that measures the current time, a communication unit 112 that performs communications, an entry request unit 113 that provides notification of an entry request when a dual-mode vehicle enters a track zone, and a positioning unit 114 that senses a vehicle position, and ground equipment 130 including a railroad crossing control unit 21 that controls a railroad crossing, an internal clock 121 that measures the current time, and a communication unit 122 that performs communications. The onboard equipment or ground equipment includes a memory unit 123 in which position information on the railroad crossing and speed limit information on the track zone are stored, and an alert beginning time calculation unit 125 that calculates an alert beginning time on the basis of the positioning information detected at the time of notification of the entry request, the position information on the railroad crossing, and the speed limit information. The railroad control unit controls the railroad crossing so that a railroad crossing alert motion can be performed at the alert beginning time.
