PURPOSE: To provide a railroad crossing controller for a railroad model, by which a vehicle does not through an opened railroad crossing, even in the case an entered vehicle goes backward.
CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with a CPU 9, actuation sensors A1, A2, an alarm 5, a crossing gate driving means 7 and a railroad crossing sensor B. When a vehicle exists in a railroad crossing operation area and the alarm 5 and the crossing gate driving means 7 are being operated, in the case a going-backward sensor detects a fact that the vehicle goes backward, or in the case the going-backward sensor detects a fact that the vehicle goes backward, and also, the railroad crossing sensor B confirms passing of the vehicle, the operation of the alarm 5 and the crossing gate driving means 7 is released. Also, when the vehicle exists in the railroad crossing operation area and the alarm 5 and the crossing gate driving means 7 are not being operated, in the case the going-backward sensor detects a fact that the vehicle goes backward, the alarm 5 and the crossing gate driving means 7 are operated, and also, when the railroad crossing sensor B confirms passing of the vehicle thereafter, the operation of the alarm 5 and the crossing gate driving means 7 is released.
