This railroad model is provided with: a plurality of the model trains 10-1, 10-2,...10-n travelling by receiving the supply of power from the rail; and a main controller 2 controlling the travelling operation of the model trains. Each model train is provided with: a receiving part 12 for receiving a control signal from the main controller 2 in a non-contacting state; and a train control part 14 for controlling a driving motor on the bases of the control signal for the model train received by the reception part 12. The main controller 2 is provided with: a control signal preparation part 4 for preparing the control signal for controlling the operation of the model trains by each model train; and a transmission part 6 for transmitting the prepared control signal toward the reception parts 12 of all the model trains in a non-contacting state.
