Abstract:
To provide a location detecting ground-unit for a railroad which is hardly damaged by the impact of an ice block falling from a running railroad vehicle.SOLUTION: A location detecting ground-unit comprises a frame shape body (11) like a rectangular frame in a front view which body is made from insulating fiber-reinforced resin, a magnetic metal plate (12) arranged on the upper wall of the frame shape body and two fixing means (15A, 15B) which are inserted in open holes formed in the bottom wall of the frame shape body to fix the body to the track and the frame shape body has an inclined plane (11A) as the forward end part of the body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
