To provide a railroad transportation system capable of largely improving a transportation capacity by largely expanding a floor area per train.

The railroad transportation is equipped with a railroad vehicle V comprising rail track R composed of two rails, iron wheels 35 rolling on the rail track, a truck 38 supported by a pair of iron wheels 35, and a cabin part 30 supported by the pair of truck 38, a reaction plate 22 of a linear motor installed on the truck 38 and a linear motor primary coil 21 which is laid down along the rail truck R and corresponds to the reaction plate 22. The cabin part 30 is a double deck having a mutually independent first floor cabin 32 and second floor cabin 31. The first cabin 32 and the second cabin 31 are equipped with a first floor getting on/off area 39 and a second floor getting on/off area 33, and are not equipped with an overhead wire above a roof 37 of the railroad vehicle V and along the rail track R and a power collector of the roof 37.
