This railroad vehicle driving unit 12 includes a reduction gear housing 13, an input side rotary member 14, revolution members 17 and 18, a plurality of rotation regulating members 19 and 20, first and second fixing members 24 and 25, and an outer peripheral engaging member 21. Among a plurality of rotation regulating members, at least a part includes a large diameter part 19a in a central part in the axial direction and first and second small diameter parts 19b and 19c in both end parts in the axial direction, and is an opposite end supporting rotation regulating member 19 supported at opposite ends by the first and second fixing members 24 and 25. The first small diameter part 19b and the first fixing member 24 are directly fixed, and the second small diameter part 19c and the second fixing member 25 are fixed by pressing the second fixing member 25 to an end surface of the large diameter part 19a by a pressing-fixing means.
