To provide a railroad vehicle equipped with an LED lighting system capable of consolidating power supply devices for LEDs, saving power via interior lighting control, facilitating maintenance of the power supply devices, enabling formation control and individual lighting control of respective vehicles when passing through a tunnel and in response to changes of outside environment, and reducing the influence of radiation noise that may affect the LED lighting.
This railroad vehicle includes: a first power supply device for supplying power to an LED lighting system disposed in an interior of the railroad vehicle; a formation control device for detecting tunnel information and transmitting the tunnel information to the first power supply device; and an illuminance sensor for monitoring illuminance in the interior of the railroad vehicle. A plurality of LED lighting devices connected in series are connected to the railroad vehicle, and the railroad vehicle includes the first power supply device having the illuminance sensor and the formation control device connected thereto.
