Abstract:
Provided are a noise canceller for suppressing propagation of noise due to a signal line, and a railroad vehicle and an automobile in which the noise canceller is mounted. The noise canceller is provided with an electric power converter which drivingly control an electric motor, a communication device for performing communication with the outside, a signal line provided between the electric power converter and the communication device, and a conductive signal line guide unit which guides a predetermined section of the signal line, and characterized in that the signal line guide unit is electrically connected to GND and includes an EBG structure in which a conductor having a predetermined shape is periodically arranged in a matrix, wherein the EBG structure is disposed on a signal line-side face of the signal line guide unit between the signal line and the face of the signal line guide unit.
