Abstract:
To provide a railway vehicle in which, in the case where a fire breaks out in the railway vehicle that comprises an engine generator, the fire can be extinguished effectively and in a short time with fire-extinguishing agent kept in the vehicle.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle comprises first and second partition walls arranged in the direction of the vehicle width in the railway vehicle, ventilation apertures created in the side body structure of a compartment formed by the first and the second partition walls, closing plates to shut the ventilation apertures, the first control lever installed on the first partition wall, a second control lever installed on the second partition wall and a control lever connection shaft connecting the first and the second control levers.
