Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting of rails and racks upon installation of a machining apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a rail A of a cutting apparatus (machining apparatus) having a traveling carriage B on which a cutting torch 3 serving as a machining member is mounted. The rail comprises: multiple rack members 20 each having multiple threaded holes 23 at preset positions on one surface; and multiple rail members 10. Each rail member includes: a travel surface 11a with which a travel roller 4 of the cutting apparatus is to come in contact; guide surfaces 11b that are disposed at both sides of the travel surface, and with which guide rollers 5 are to come in contact; a mounting surface 12a that is disposed under the guide surfaces, and on which the rack members are mounted; and multiple slots 14 formed on the mounting surface at positions each corresponding to a position of each threaded hole of the rack member. The rail members, which are disposed in series, are connected to each other, with the travel surfaces being in contact with each other. The multiple rack members are mounted by bolts inserted into the slots and engaged with the threaded holes, the multiple rack members being disposed in series on the mounting surface so that an interval of teeth at a connection portion is equal to a preset tooth pitch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
