Abstract:
To provide a railway station facility enabling even a small station to have an elevator only if it has a passengers' overpass connecting platforms by staircases.
The facility comprises platforms 1 provided in parallel with a railway 2, a passengers' overpass 3 bridging the railway 2, staircases 4 connecting the bridge 3 and the platforms 1, elevators 5 provided near the staircases 4 with their upper-floor entrances 7 positioned on the side of the bridge 3, and passages 8 added for connecting the entrances 7 and the bridge 3.
