Abstract:
To provide a structure of a railway vehicle which can absorb impact forces generated in a collision and whose small arrangement space allows the damaged structure to be easily recovered.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle comprises a truck, an underframe fixed to the truck, a middle body structure fixed to the underframe, a beginning body structure arranged on the underframe in one side alongside the middle body structure, a protected body structure arranged on the underframe in the other side alongside the middle body structure, a bolt fastening part to fasten the beginning body structure and the middle body structure where end parts of the beginning body structure and the middle body structure overlap, the bolt penetrates the end parts of the beginning body structure and the middle body structure and the beginning body structure and the thread of the bolt is screwed into a nut. When an impact force acts on the beginning body structure, the bolt is pushed. When the bolt is going to move, the bolt is guided by faces of a head and the nut and moves to the side of the protected body structure. When the bolt breaks a wall part of the middle body structure, energy is dissipated, and the impact load is absorbed by the energy dissipation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
