PURPOSE: To prevent the possibility of easy breaking and falling by its own weight even when a foam rod is frozen in a rain leader.

CONSTITUTION: In a rain leader device, in which a rain leader 5 is installed along the wall surface of a building through an elbow 4 from a rain leader 3 under eaves and foam rods 7, 8 are inserted into the rain leaders 3, 5 and the elbow 4, a high-rigidity rod 9 approximately bent along the elbow 4 is inserted into the elbow 4. The upper end of the high-rigidity rod 9 is connected to the lower end section of the foam rod 7 inserted into the rain leader 3 under the eaves, and the lower end of the high-rigidity rod 9 is coupled with the upper end section of the foam rod 8 inserted into the rain leader 5 along the wall surface of the building.
