Abstract:
To provide a rain cover member for a railway vehicle which prevents the entry of rain water into the railway vehicle and enables opening of railway vehicle windows.SOLUTION: A rain cover member 1 for a railway vehicle is fitted to a railway vehicle which has an openable/closable descending window 4 in a window opening part 3 in a window frame 2 provided at a side structure Ta of a railway vehicle T, and can form an open part 5 communicating a cabin space with a vehicle outer space in the window opening part 3 by moving the descending window 4. The rain cover member includes: a flange part 6 which can be fitted to the railway vehicle T via fitting members 8a, 8b and a double-sided tape 9; and an eaves part 7 which is continuously provided at the flange part 6, wherein the eaves part 7 covers the open part 5 in a state that the communication between the cabin space and the vehicle outer space through the open part 5 is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
