To provide a rainwater storage device, which stores rainwater to be used for home vegetable gardening and the like and is particularly capable of effectively storing a large quantity of rainwater, preventing mosquitos and dust from entering into a container, keeping the stored rainwater from deterioration, and facilitating visual recognition of a storage quantity of the rainwater from outside; and which protects against being blown off by a strong wind.
The rainwater storage device 1 of this embodiment has an upper cover 3 on a container 2 storing rainwater to almost seal the container 2 and two receiving boards 4 which receive the rainwater at a time of rainfall and are arranged on the upper cover 3 with downward inclinations from an outside to an inside of the upper cover 3. The receiving boards 4 each includes an outer frame 4a, a rainwater collecting cloth 4b and fixtures 4c to fix the rainwater collecting cloth 4b to the outer frame 4a.
