The rainwater storage structure member comprises a plurality of vertical pipe members 3 of predetermined length; lateral members for assembling a 3D structure together with the vertical pipe members 3; and connecting tools connectable to the vertical pipe members 3 and the lateral members to connect the vertical pipe members 3 and the lateral members to each other. The vertical pipe members 3 and the connecting tools, and the lateral members and the connecting tools, are fitted and assembled to form the 3D structure, and space can be formed inside. When the connecting tool is fitted to the vertical pipe member 3, since the outer peripheral surface of an end 3a of the vertical pipe member abutting on the connecting tool is embossed, the inner peripheral surface of the connecting tool abutting on the end 3a of the vertical pipe member is formed in a smooth surface compared with an uneven surface based on embossing performed to the outer peripheral surface of the end 3a of the pipe member.
