To provide a rainwater suction-discharge device of a top plate part of a vessel such as a drum can, without rusting a plug, and without mixing rainwater in the vessel when opening the plug, by preventing the rainwater from infiltrating into a base part of the top plate part, by quickly discharging the rainwater of a top plate part upper surface of the vessel such as the drum can vertically placed outdoors to an external part.
The rainwater suction-discharge device 1 comprises a longitudinal sectional substantially inverse U-shaped water absorptive member straddling a chime part 22 of the outer periphery of the top plate part 21 of the vessel 20 such as the drum can, and an inside end part of the water absorptive member is contacted with an upper surface of the top plate part 21, and the outside end part is held in a hanging-down shape on the outside of the chime part 22, and is held in a height of a level or less of the top plate part 21. The rainwater of the upper surface of the top plate part 21 of the vessel 20 such as the drum can is sucked up by a capillary phenomenon from the inside end part of the water absorptive member, and is discharged by flowing down from the outside end part of the water absorptive member outside of the chime part 22. Fixing means of the water absorptive member is also provided.
