Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raised-floor small animal keeping apparatus provided with a washing mechanism capable of specifying the evacuation position of a dog taking advantage of the properties of a dog such as color blindness and maintaining the keeping chamber in hygienic state in contrast to a conventional exercising floor having a low floor level having problems unsuitable as a dog-keeping environment such as the troublesome cleaning work of feces sporadically scattered on the low floor and the insanitary condition caused by the adhesion of scattered feces to the hair of a dog to make the dog to be susceptible to diseases, etc.
SOLUTION: This keeping apparatus is composed of a floor part 1 having a raised floor 1a and a low floor 1b, side parts 2 standing at the right and left sides of the floor part, rails 6 laid along the top of the side parts, an expelling fence 3 erected at the edge of the rear part of the floor and adjacent to an expelling path and a mobile fence B movable on the rail. A nozzle 4a for spraying a cleaning liquid is placed on the low floor at the position close to the step between the raised floor and the low floor. A colored zone having a color recognizable by dogs is formed at a prescribed position of the low floor and a side ditch for evacuation is formed on the colored zone.
