Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain healthy seedlings with uniform quality by packing granular medium soil of a specified size into a raising seedling pot each specified in the range of volume, the area of its upper opening and bottom area with the bottom specifically perforated to carry out raising juvenile seedlings.
CONSTITUTION: Juvenile seedlings are raised by packing (A) granular medium soil 0.5-20mm in mean size into (B) a raising seedling pot 100-2000ml in volume, 25-200cm2 in the area of the upper opening and 10-100cm2 in bottom area with the bottom provided with n perforations (n is 1-20) each 0.07-0.48cm2 in open area with the total perforation area accounting for (0.15-1.70)×n% of the bottom area.
