Abstract:
To improve the range detecting accuracy of a range detection device and to prevent a failure of the range detection device.
The range detection device of the invention includes: a passage forming member 42 which forms an open passage 86 which is opened into an automatic transmission; a movable body 44 which reciprocatingly moves within the open passage 86 according to the selection of range of the automatic transmission; a detection means 70 for detecting the range based on the position of movement of the movable body 44; and pressure-feeding means 81, 90 to 92 which pressure-feed working fluid of the automatic transmission to the open passage 86.
