Abstract:
To acquire characteristic data on a light reception element.SOLUTION: A range-finding sensor has: a pixel; a time-of-flight detection unit; a characteristic data detection unit; and a characteristic data holding unit. The pixel includes a light reception element receiving reflection light of emission light emitted from a light source device and reflected by an object, and generates a light reception signal based on light reception of the reflection light. The time-of-flight detection unit is configured to detect a time-of-flight from the emission of the emission light to the light reception of the reflection light for detecting a distance to the object on the basis of the generated light reception signal. The characteristic data detection unit is configured to detect characteristic data on the light reception element on the basis of the light reception signal. The characteristic data holding unit is configured to hold the detected characteristic data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
