Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Rankine cycle system useful for increasing a year-round total power generation amount.SOLUTION: This Rankine cycle system (1a) includes a heat pump cycle path (4), a Rankine cycle path (3), a compressor (5), an engine (2), a pump (17), a heater (6), an expander (16) and a first heat exchanger (15). The compressor (5) compresses a refrigerant. The engine (2) is connected to the compressor (5) to drive the compressor (5). The pump (17) pressure-feeds working fluid. The heater (6) heats the working fluid pressure-fed by the pump (17) by using exhaust heat of the engine (2). The expander (16) expands the working fluid heated by the heater (6). The first heat exchanger (15) radiates heat of the working fluid discharged from the expander (16) to the refrigerant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
