Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rapid cooling furnace which is enhanced in the uniformity of cooling to a work and eventually in the uniformity of heat treatment.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of injecting a cooling gas via gas ejection ports 2a into a treating space S2, the ejection positions thereof are selected so as to exist in positions where tornado-like swirling flow is generated in the treating space S2. This furnace is provided with gas leading out ports 3a, 4a in the axial center direction of rotation of the swirling flow.
