Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid lowering preventing device of an elevating body capable of instantly stopping a lowering of the elevating body even when the elevating body lowers suddenly due to its own weight to a fixed body, being lowered by forcibly pressing down the elevating body, and being easily raised by lifting up the elevating body.
SOLUTION: This rapid lowering preventing device comprises a guide member 1 having a guide groove 4 and a slide member 2 having a sliding part 5 sliding in the guide groove with maximum separating distance restricted for the guide member. The slide member is mounted on the fixed body so as to direct vertically, the guide member is mounted to the elevating body, a recessed part 7 is formed in a side surface of the slide member, and the bottom surface of the recessed part becomes narrow downwardly to form a tilting surface 8. A wedge-like regulating member 3 having a sliding surface 9 with the same tilting angle as that of the tilting surface and a pressing surface 10 parallel with the bottom surface of the guide groove is disposed vertically floatably in the recessed part. When the regulating member is positioned in the lower part in the recessed part, the pressing surface contacts by pressure with the bottom surface of the guide groove directly or via the other member.
