Abstract:

To obtain the subject formulation having a hardness practically satisfactory at a low compressive pressure in a dry state and capable of being rapidly disintegrated in the presence of saliva in the oral cavity by allowing the formulation to contain an active ingredient, a sugar or a sugar alcohol, a disintegrator and a cellulose.

This solid formulation is brought to contain (A) an active ingredient, (B) a sugar or a sugar alcohol having 30-300 μm average particle size, (C) a disintegrator and (D) a cellulose. This formulation is a rapidly dissintegrating solid formulation and preferably a tablet. It is preferable to allow 100 pts.wt. of the solid formulation to contain 40-95 pts.wt. of the ingredient B, 0.5-15 pts.wt. of the ingredient C and 0.5-40 pts.wt. of the ingredient D. The sugar is preferably glucose, fructose, lactose and the like and the sugar alcohol is preferably D-mannitol and the like. The ingredient C is preferably carmellose calcium and the like. The ingredient D is preferably a crystalline cellulose and the like. The ingredient A is preferably manidipine hydrochloride and the like.
