Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title adhesive excellent in shelf life and bonding force by adding a mixture of a plurality of specified compounds as a cure accelerator to an active isocyanato-containing urethane prepolymer obtained by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of an organotin compound (e.g. dibutyltin dilaurate) with 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone as a cure accelerator is added to an active isocyanato-containing urethane prepolymer obtained by reacting a polyol (e.g. a polyol obtained by the addition reaction of propylene glycol with propylene oxide and ethylene oxide) with an excess of a polyisocyanate compound (e.g. polymethylenepolyphenyl polyisocyanate).
