Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accelerate a processing by parallelly converting identified blocks to intermediate form data and converting the intermediate form data for two geographical areas among images to a raster pixel map for indicating the images.
CONSTITUTION: One scanning processor 14 scans an inputted page description language(PDL) data stream 12 and identifies state independent 'blocks' 16. By one block processor 22, the PDL commands of the respective blocks 16 are successively converted to intermediate form objects 20. Then, the intermediate form data for the at least two geographical areas of the images are parallelly converted to the raster pixel map for indicating at least a part of the images. Thus, a high-speed processing is made possible.
