Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily clamp belts only by swinging the lever of a buckle for several times by assembling a ratchet mechanism in the buckle used upon clamping the load on a truck or the like by means of belts. CONSTITUTION:In a case where a load 102 carried on a loading platform 101 is fixed by a stationary belt B, one end of a belt B1 is fixed to a belt fixing part 103, and its free end is inserted through a gap formed between arbors 80 and 80. A fitting belt B2 is wound around and fixed to a shaft 3 mounted on a frame 40, and the other end is fixed to a belt fixing part 104. When the lever 10 is rotated in a reciprocating manner for several times up to a position 10' in this state, a ratchet gear 4 is rotated by a driving end 35 of a pawl 30, and the belt B1 becomes tensed. When the belt B is released, fingers are placed at the ratch 32 of the pawl 30, and the lever 10 is rotated to a position 10'' to release the engagement of the ratchet gear 4 while drawing the pawl 30 in resistance to the force of a spring 6.
