Title:
AIR/FUEL RATIO CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE FOR LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3818635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air/fuel ratio control device for an internal combustion engine for liquefied petroleum gas, whereby a stable air/fuel ratio is obtained, without being affected by the temperature of an injector metering zone which changes due to various operation conditions.
SOLUTION: An evaporative cooling amount DTf from a delivery pipe to each injector metering zone is calculated based on a rotation speed Ne and a load referring to a map (step S106), and the temperature of the metering zone is estimated, by using the evaporative cooling amount DTf and the fuel temperature Tf of the delivery pipe (step S108). A fuel density correction coefficient KTinj is calculated, by using the above estimated value Tinj referring to the map (step S110), and a basic injection time TAU of each injector is corrected, based on the above correction coefficient KTinj (step S112). Thereby, even if the fuel density in each injector metering zone is changed with temperature, a fuel injection amount in the same injection time can be prevented from changing.
