PURPOSE: To enhance the heat efficiency of a large-sized and heavy electrostatic precipitator by setting the precipitator on the ground.
CONSTITUTION: A kiln 12 connected to a calcining furnace 6 arranged at the lowermost stage of plural cyclones 2, 3, 4 and 5 vertically set in plural stages, an electrostatic precipitator 14 set on the ground and a first-stage connecting duct 15 having a raw material inlet 15 and connecting the uppermost cyclone 2 and the precipitator 14 are provided, a duct connecting the uppermost cyclone 2 to the next stage cyclone 3 is turned around close to the precipitaor 14 set on the ground 13 to constitute a second-stage connecting duct 7, a fine powder feeder 17 is provided to supply the fine powder collected in the largesized and heavy electrostatic precipitator 14 to the duct 7, the precipitator 14 is set on the ground 13 and stabilized, the fine powder collected with high efficiency is returned to the cyclone 2, and heat efficiency is remarkably improved.
