Abstract:
To provide a raw material for a siliceous fertilizer which has excellent solubility under a neutral environment and can obtain a siliceous fertilizer less in lime content inexpensively.
The raw material for the siliceous fertilizer is slag to be recovered in a hot metal pre-treatment process in a blast furnace hot metal, and contains SiO2 produced by oxidizing silicon in the hot metal, CaO and MgO in which the total content of SiO2, CaO and MgO is ≥75 mass% and the ratio of CaO, MgO and SiO2 is in a range surrounded by a point (a), a point (b), a point (c), a point (d), a point (e) and a point (f) shown in Figure 1.
