Abstract:
To obtain raw powder having good sintering property and usable for the production of a self-lubricating sintered material by powder metallurgy.
A stainless steel mill pot of a planetary mill containing stainless steel balls is charged with WS2 particles and Ni particles and is rotated in an argon gas atmosphere. An Ni coating film is formed on the surface of the WS2 particle by the process. The WS2 particles having the Ni film, the W particles and Ni-Fe-B particles are used as raw powder and a self-lubricating sintered material is produced by the powdery metallurgy of the raw powder.
