Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction fin device which can enhance the efficiency of energy recovery in a propeller and further improve the propulsion efficiency of a hull.SOLUTION: A reaction fin device 1 is a device comprising a plurality of reaction fins 11, 12 arranged on a front side of a propeller for generating propulsion power for a hull 2. The reaction fin device comprises: the first reaction fin 11 which is arranged in a range of an angle position from 10 degrees to less than 90 degrees when a vertical upper direction relative to a center position of the propeller is defined as 0 degree, and an angle position is defined so that the angle increases in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the propeller; and the second reaction fin 12 which is arranged in a range of an angle position from 10 degrees to less than 90 degrees and has an elevation angle smaller than that of the first reaction fin 11. A code length of the second reaction fin 12 is longer than a code length of the first reaction fin 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4a
