Abstract:
To provide a reaction force control device for an accelerator pedal capable of suppressing occurrence of congestion while reducing uncomfortable feeling of a driver relative to an accelerator operation.SOLUTION: A reaction force control device for accelerator pedal includes an accelerator pedal of a vehicle and a reaction force application mechanism for generating reaction force to a depressing operation of the accelerator pedal. A controller is configured to determine current reaction force to a current depressing operation and target reaction force (Step S5) when determining that a current traveling road is a section where vehicle speed is controlled, lower the current reaction force when the current reaction force is larger than the target reaction force, and increase the current reaction force when the current reaction force is smaller than the target reaction force (Step S7 to Step S9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
