To provide a reaction vessel for inspecting an ecological substance.
The reaction vessel 100 is equipped with an upper container half body 150 having an upper well 152, a lower container half body 110 having a lower well 112 and a flow path 114, and a porous material chip 130 arranged between the upper well 152 and the lower well 112 and having a reaction part 132. The upper well 152 has an opening at an upper side of the reaction vessel 100, thereby allowing an optical observation of the reaction part 132 from the above. The reaction vessel 100 further includes an upper packing member 155 provided between the upper vessel half body 150 and the porous material chip 130, and a lower packing member 117 provided between the lower vessel half body 110 and the porous material chip 130. At least one of the upper packing member 155 and the lower packing member 117 has a color different from the color of the corresponding vessel half body at least partially.
