To obtain a reactive dye having high fixing ratio and fiber-binding stability, capable of readily washing non-fixing dye of fiber off and useful for obtaining the dyed material having general fastness characteristics.

This dye is represented by formula I [R is a 1-4C alkyl or a 1-4C alkoxy whose alkyl part may be each replaced with hydroxy, a 1-4C alkoxy or sulfite; R1 is a 1-4C alkyl or NHCOR2'; R2 and R2' are independently a 1-4C alkyl or NH2; R3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, a halogen, etc.; X is a halogen; Y is a vinyl or CH2CH2U (U is an eliminating group); (m) is 0 or 1; (n) is 0-2 and (n+m) is ≥1; Z is non-reactive amino group or a group of formula II (B is an aliphatic diamine group, etc.; P is 0 or 1)]. The dye can be obtained by condensing an aminoazo compound of formula III with triazine of formula IV and an amine of the formula H-Z.
