PURPOSE: To provide the subject one pack type adhesive having excellent heat resistance, hydrolysis resistance and mechanical resistance by employing an urethane prepolymer having isocyanate groups in a specific amount at the molecular ends.

CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyol component comprising (i) 95-50wt.% of a polyhydroxyhydrocarbon polymer having an average hydroxyl group number of 1-8 groups, a number-average mol.wt. of 600-2000 and an iodine value of ≤100 and (ii) 5-50wt.% of a diol having a mol.wt. of <600 is reacted with (B) a polyisocyanate preferably comprising tolylene diisocyanate or diphenylmethane diisocyanate to provide the objective adhesive containing 0.1-5wt.% of isocyanate groups at the molecular ends.
