Abstract:
To provide a reactor building protection object capable of preventing a flying item from penetrating through a reactor building outer wall even when a heavy object flying at high speed collides with reactor building.SOLUTION: A protection object 1 for preventing a flying item from penetrating through the same which may be installed on an outer wall 40 of a reactor building 4 of a concrete building, comprises: a container 32 formed of a thin steel plate 31; and a filler material 33 which is filled in the container 32 capable of distributing the load transmitted to an installation face of the container 32 and the outer wall 40 of the reactor building 4. The filler material 33 may be any of elastic fluid which contains a liquid, gel, slurry-like substance, sand, small particle size rubber, or a resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
