PURPOSE: To provide a reactor container decompression device with a wet type washer which can be applied to a wide flow-rate range and in which pressure losses are small and which is provided with a nozzle means of simple structure and to simplify the equipment of a radioactive material removing device and to prevent radioactive material contained in condensed water from refloating.
CONSTITUTION: The nozzle means of a wet type washer 15 is comprised of a plurality of horizontal nozzle pipes 33 each connected to a vent pipe and a number of nozzle small holes 36 each of which is downwardly opened through each nozzle pipe, and radioactive material is removed by injecting a jet of gas into tank water 34. A metallic fiber filter 43b for removing radioactive particles in gas is installed in a piping member 43a constituting a vent line, so as to form a piping-incorporated type radioactive material removing device 43. A condensed water collecting device 63 is comprised of a condensed water receiver 55 provided in the piping member 55a constituting one part of the vent line, a waste liquid tank 58, drain piping 57 connecting the condensed water receiver 55 to the waste liquid tank 58, and a valve 56.
