Abstract:
To provide a reactor containment capable of enhancing cooling capacity and improving a heat utilization ratio without using chimney effect.SOLUTION: A reactor containment 10 for storing a reactor pressure vessel 2 comprises: a vessel body 10a inside which a pressure vessel chamber 10b for storing the reactor pressure vessel 2 is formed; a cooling part 5 which is higher in heat radiation performance than the vessel body 10a, disposed on the vessel body 10a so as to be exposed to the outside, and inside which a cooling chamber 5a communicating to the pressure vessel chamber 10b is formed, and which cools fluid flowing into the cooling chamber 5a from the pressure vessel chamber 10b by performing heat exchange between fluid in the cooling chamber 5a and outside fluid and being heated by the reactor pressure vessel 2; and a heat recovery part 7 which is exposed in the pressure vessel chamber 10b, inside which a coolant in a circuit different from a coolant supplied to the reactor pressure vessel 2 flows, and which recovers radiation heat emitted from the reactor pressure vessel 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
