PURPOSE: To provide a reactor control rod supervisory control system which can reduce the load on operators in charge of supervision by stopping the operation of control rod drives at a central control room, and facilitating supervision and administration of the control rod drives without increasing the amount of cable and the number of control boards.
CONSTITUTION: This reactor control rod supervisory control system comprises control rod drive selecting locking switches 19a, 19b for selecting a control rod drive 3 for operating reactor control rods 2, a locking switches 17a, 17b for ordering stopping of operation of the control rod drive selected, control-rod manual operation microprocessors 8a, 8b for controlling the control rod drive, unlocking switches 18a, 18b for canceling the order of stopping operation, a direction-selecting control valve 4 provided to each control rod drive 3, and an indicator 62 for indicating the state of the control rod drive 3 selected. Stopping of the operation of the control rod drive 3, canceling of the stopping, and indication of the state can be achieved through remote control.
