A reactor 1 includes a combination of a coil 2 having a pair of coil elements 2a, 2b, and a magnetic core 3. Each coil element 2a, 2b includes a turn formation part 2t formed by edge winding a covered rectangular wire, and a connection end 2c, at the end of the rectangular wire, becoming a connection point of a terminal fitting 4. The connection end 2c is led out from one end side of the turn formation part 2t between the upper surface 32u of an outer core 32 and the upper surface 2u of the turn formation part 2t, so that the width direction of the rectangular wire is parallel with the side-by-side direction of the coil elements 2a, 2b, by flatwise bending the rectangular wire. When connecting the terminal fitting 4 with the connection end 2c, the connection end 2c, the terminal fitting 4 and the terminal connection of the connection end 2c and terminal fitting 4 are located below the upper surface 2u of the turn formation part 2t.
