Abstract:

To provide a reactor for liquid-phase peptide synthesis, which uses a liquid-phase peptide synthesis method and a reactor for liquid-phase peptide synthesis, which has a small volume and is suitable for carrying out various kinds of peptide synthesis reactions.

The reactor for liquid-phase peptide synthesis, which is useful for a liquid-phase peptide synthesis reaction using a carrier for crystallization separation, being a compound reversibly changing from a liquid-phase state to a solid-phase state with the change of a solution composition and/or solution temperature, includes one or more reaction chambers, a solution injection means for injecting various reagents, a solution discharge means for discharging solutions contained in the reaction chambers and filters arranged at the solution discharge means sides of the one or more reaction chambers. Each volume of the one or more reaction chambers is 200 l and 2 ml and the filters are filters to retain the reaction solution contained in the reaction chamber for at least 20 minutes under an atmospheric pressure.
