Abstract:
To provide an isothermic reactor which can be easily operated with high reliability and at a low cost and a low level of operating pressure loss and energy consumption.
The isothermic reactor for performing a non-uniform reaction in an exothermic or an endothermic process, has at least a single pipe (13), for the passage of a cooling or a heating fluid, which stretches in a helical conical shape, in a catalytic bed (3) housed in an appropriate outer shell (2).
