Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor output monitor in which the total system can be simplified while satisfying a matter required for a safety protective system, i.e., redundancy and electrical/physical separation of the system, and reliability, economy and maintainability can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The reactor output monitor comprises a plurality of local output region monitors 1P-1 to 1P-52 disposed in the reactor core in order to detect a neutron flux in the reactor, and a reactor output measuring unit 3 connected with the local output region monitors. The reactor output measuring unit 3 comprises a reactor start output function section 10, a reactor mean output function section 8, means 6 for operating the reactor output in the reactor output region, and means 7 for displaying the operation results.
