Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor for producing cuprous chloride which continuously produces molten bath of cuprous chloride for long time.
SOLUTION: This reactor 1 for producing cuprous chloride has a means for charging or introducing copper as a starting material and chlorine gas for chlorinating the same. Therein, a reactor body 10 of the reactor 1 has a constitution which is provided with a first reaction part (a) generating the molten bath containing cupric chloride by chlorinating the starting material of copper with chloride gas and a second reaction part (b) generating the molten bath containing cuprous chloride by reducing the cupric chloride. A plurality of pieces of chlorine introducing pipes 14 for spraying chlorine gas to the starting material of copper are inserted into the first reaction part (a).
