Abstract:
To improve efficiency in cooling coil in a reactor.SOLUTION: A reactor 10 comprises: a coil 120; a resin cover 300; and a cooler 200 that cools the coil. The resin cover 300 covers a surface of the coil. The coil has an exposure surface 125 exposed from the resin cover. The cooler has a cooling surface 202 on which the exposure surface of the coil is placed via a heat transfer material 420. The resin cover has a projection 310 surrounding the exposure surface and the heat transfer material and projecting toward the cooling surface. The projection 310 abuts on the cooling surface 202.EFFECT: In the reactor, a distance between the exposure surface of the coil and the cooling surface of the cooler is ensured by an amount that the projection projects in the resin cover; therefore, while a required insulation distance between the exposure surface of the coil and the cooling surface of the cooler is ensured, efficiency in cooling the coil can be improved by restricting the thickness of the heat transfer material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
