Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a service delay and to improve riding comfort by suppressing a decrease in acceleration, deceleration performance due to slip or glide of an electric railcar to a minimum limit.
CONSTITUTION: A minimum frequency of a rotating frequency of a motor 2 to be detected through a pulse generator 3 and a speed calculator 4 by a reference frequency selector 7 is selected at the time of power drive and a maximum frequency is selected as the reference frequency at the time of braking, and a difference between the reference frequency and the rotary frequency of the motor 2 is obtained by a subtracter 8. On the other hand, a time change rate of the rotary frequency of the motor 2 is obtained by a change rate calculator 10, and predetermined outputs responsive to outputs of the subtracter 8 and the calculator 10 are obtained by a functional generator 9, and at least one of the current and the frequency command to the motor 2 is reduced and controlled.
